Very cosy, clean & had everything you need.

Atmosphere, the unique set up and decor, comfortable and very relaxing.

No board games or activities to do inside the room and the toilet seat was too small for the toilet bowl.

Location

No Gas for hot water had to borrow from next door. Black mould all around the deck. They call it luxury. They need to look up definition of luxury. Toilet seat broken. No tv. No microwave . Heater but NO air-conditioning. Furniture very ld and worn-out. Dead pot plant in yurt. Just don't seem to care . Once you pay your stuck

The location in the hinterland behind Byron Bay is gorgeous and the yurt is an impressive structure. The bird song in the morning was wonderful. The kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom seemed new and sparkling. We especially enjoyed Minyon Falls (trickle) and the Boggy Creek trail.

We arrived after dark and had difficulty finding the place as there was no sign at the road; the lock box malfunctioned and we had to gain entry through an insecure back door; the gas (two bottles) had run out so we had no hot water until the next day; the bed and couch were hard and uncomfortable; there were no extra blankets, towels or teatowels; and the toilet seat was not fixed properly to the toilet. There was no welcoming information or instructions about the facilities or the general area. Making matters worse, we could not immediately contact the manager, who said she was out of the country, before or during our stay so we had no idea about what was there and how to sort out our problems, until she finally put us in contact with another person who assisted us the next day.

I liked staying in the cute yurt, seeing all the trees when waking up and the views 😍 Shout out to the lovely cleaner who drove 30 minutes to our yurt and cleaned it all up for us. Super nice and made the stay a lot more worth while.

I didn’t like that we rocked up to no mattress when we arrived, dirty dishes, bedding and couldn’t even get a hold of property owner or groundskeeper. The back door of the yurt doesn’t lock at all/shut properly and leaks water when rains. Deceiving pictures as well, didn’t know it was as close to each other as I thought.

The location was peaceful and beautiful. The yurt was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils to be able to cook for myself.

I think the bed was broken, I have sent a message to the owners directly for them to have a look.

The views, the unique features of a yurt. The peacefulness. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Would go again. But after some improvements.

The bed was uncomfortable, the couch was not very comfortable. There was a very fishy smell within the yurt - that needs resolving. Again. Overall would go again, however, improvements need to be made. See koala mattress or Emma mattress. Just a suggestion. Also, maybe check out the mould situation on the wood around the edges inside. I understand that location but all the above could result in such an amazing getaway.
