"A great base from which to learn a little of the history of Komoro"

The location is great, close to the station and the historic buildings and garden/castle remains in the centre of town, and also a good base to visit the historic post town of Unnojuku, two stops away on the train. The hotel itself reflects the era of its construction (the booming 1970s) and has been updated little in the meantime.

The bathroom fittings seemed to be original and the shower difficult to control (although not a problem if you use the hot spring bath which was very good).
