This is a delightful haven of rural peace. We loved the surrounding park and the Serra d’Arrabida itself is awesome with a fabulous coast (try the wonderful O’Faro restaurant at Portinlo). Our chalet was comfortable, the breakfast was brilliant and the charity does great work introducing city kids to the countryside so your money is well spent.

The shower handle was broken and the shower was small with nowhere to put soap etc to hand so showering was very awkward. Need to put hot water thermostat up in advance for shower - a reminder of this would be helpful. The area you approach through inland (along the N379) is very shabby urban sprawl - not a good setting for the Natural Park.

Great hospitality from the staff! They were so helpful and always went the extra mile for us. The bungalow was spacious and clean and included everything we needed. The area is a bit remote, but surrounded by beautiful nature.

we were the only guests and no staff was on site, we were left a key. the bungalow was not what we had booked, but as nobody was around we could not have it changed to what we had booked. we had to call a number to get the gate open. This was not clear at beginning, so wer waiting in front of locked gate.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of selection. The location was quiet. The room was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing!

The grounds need a bit of maintenance.

I've never lived near the eucalyptus copse. Its amazing! The air around is clear ant there is a feeling you can touch the wind. Perfect place, to have all conveniences in the deep forest and enjoy silence.

we got there a little by accident - since prices in Lisbon were crazy and we were traveling by car we decided to make this out Lisbon sightseeing base. We didn't expect much, but boy our expectations were exceeded! - the bungalow was great! comfy and specious, with everything needed. Much better than in phots - the staff were super nice! (i'm saying top league) - it was quiet, close to nature and this park is beautiful! - breakfasts were very good all in all: it was supposed to be our Lisbon visiting base, but after one night there we decided that Lisbon is enough and we just keep exploring the park and the beaches around. I can't believe that this is that cheap comparing to a crazy prices in Lisbon neighborhood. And can't believe that it was so empty with Lisbon almost fully booked.
