"Very nice and quiet place"

8.0

The bungalow was very cute in the middle of the nature. Very nice and relaxing place. In the heart of Arrabida national park and beaches. Breakfast was nice and the girls working at the bar were super nice.

There was a terrible smell coming from the pipes of the shower and we slept the first night with windows open and door of the bathroom close. As soon as we opened the door of the bathroom, the smell was in the all bungalow. The second day we notified the problem and they got it fixed very quickly :-) The bar close at 5pm so there is no way to get food close by (achievable by foot) after that time. We had to drive to the closest town and a lot of restaurants were closed. We end up to eat in a fast food (terrible!) Since was the only option available. So, if you arrive late in the evening, make sure that you have food with you.

"A place in between"

The staff were super friendly and nice.

The camp felt out of date. The bungalow was nice looking but smelly. It felt it was not in use for a while.

"A peaceful stay in the heart of Arrabida"

8.0

The place ha a good position in Arrabina nature park. A plenty of parking lots at the front of the main building with a short distance to the cabins. There are also a few cabins out of the cabin village in the nature. The cabins are quite lightweight, so sounds easily come through the wall. If you are sensitive to small sounds, try to get a single cabin in the forest. We stayed one night at the end of June in the cabin village and there was no disturbing noise. The breakfast is good, porridge, fresh juice, yogurt and good coffee in the idyllic breakfast room. Extra bonus for us was to learn what means YMCA. I remember those letters only from the old Village People song. The association help young people and do other good things as well. It was told that now they are building homes for people who have fled war. We were happy to rent the cabin from them. Pic. 1 Cabin village just behind the main building near by the parking lots Pic. 2 warm welcoming :) Very nice and polite stuff Pic. 3 nature behind the village Pic. 4 nature behind the village, cabins visible in the middle Pic. 5 idyllic breakfast room

The place is in nature, so there were also mosquitoes. They bothered us at night. I recommend taking mosquito repellent with you
