Cozy Bay Classic Cruise

Beautiful and cozy cruise! The crew was very kind and respectful. The food was delicious. The activities planned during the trip were fun. I recommend 100% this Ha Long experience.

- great and plenty of food. We were also asked about our dietary restrictions and all was greatly accommodated, even when the group had all types of restrictions - Bed was comfortable and spacious, as well as the room. Toilet door would not entirely open, but for a night the room felt perfect. Better than we were expecting - The guide was great and all the transfers worked perfectly - The activities in the boat were fun and enjoyable - There was a happy hour for cocktails where we could get 2 for the price of 1. - We got two bottles of water - We liked that this boat has a small number of people on board

- we needed to do one stop each day in a pearl farm shop. We understand that this might be a way they have to finance some activities (i.e kayaking), but felt too much and annoying - We would have liked better communication on how the activities worked and coming back in the boat. We wanted to go to the ti top island but not to the cave, and ended up needing to wait for the group before going back to the boat and relax there, as we were wishing - Too packed schedule, felt rushed instead of having time to relax on board - the chairs to lay down on the roof are not so comfortable

Comfortable and enjoyable. Awesome itinerary with some down time in between. Staff friendly and very accommodating, highly recommended for the traveller looking for a cheap but comfortable and enjoyable escape.

Most meal options were very spicy. Some options available for people that do not like the hot stuff would be welcomed.

REALLY generous food portions, bordering on ridiculously large servings! Staff were all really friendly and professional, especially Bang, our tour guide for the cruise. Itinerary was great. So much ticked off in 24 hours. Felt really looked after by the staff.

Cabin was quite cramped for two people and their luggage, but we managed to make it work. Shower room-toilet is very tight on space. Lots of wood rot, but perhaps to be expected for a sea-faring vessel.

Staff

Tour of 2 attractions on the first day. On the second day, completely unnecessary attractions, watching pearls being made for ten minutes and then kayaking in a tiny complex for half an hour. Unnecessary payment, I recommend doing a daily tour or a tour with another cruise that invests in its customers, the staff was really nice, the purpose of the trip on the second day is unnecessary.

I knew it was a tourist trap situation and the staff made every effort to make it as special as possible.

It was as good as it got for what we paid for.

The cruise was great. There was plenty of food and they catered to different food requirements. The staff were all friendly and willing to help with anything.

There was nothing in particular I did not like

A small traditional wooden vessel, much better service and character than a big boat.

When you are the first one to be picked up it takes over one hour untill everyone else is picked up. I had the feeling that the cruising part is a bit short, since we already finished the cruise around 10:30 at the next day...wished we saw more of the bay itself

Discovered the impressive Ha Long Bay on this cruise. Guide was great and fun, activities were various, no time to be bored. Other people on the cruise were very friendly so had a wonderful almost 24hours. Food was really good and many meals on the boat!

We just did one night cruise so went to the same very packed places than other cruises. Service could have been a bit better, we had to ask for service spoons, glass of waters (that you pay for). Drinks are not included of course but would have expected water/ tea to be.
