Swan Cruises Halong

We actually got moved to Sena Cruises from Sean (both owned by the same company) which was a great small cruise in the less touristy Lan Ha bay. Well worth it with gorgeous scenery and fantastic guide, Sunday, who made it very interesting and also included a cooking class, Tai Chi and instrument playing. You’ll have hit the jackpot if he is your guide. All the food was delicious too.

Nothing. All very good and relieved we hadn’t booked Lan Ha bay.

When we woke up we saw 2 dead cockroach on the room.

Lovely cruise, great cabins and amazing food. In fact so much food, and so good in that 2 of our group were vegetarian and the waiting staff remembered at each mealtime and we had separate dishes when required. Our tour guide, Sunday, was absolutely brilliant too - made the trip very special, from his magic tricks, his music and his general friendliness.

A small thing but we stayed on board when the group went kayaking and no staff were available to serve us a drink - we would have liked a coffee in the afternoon but no sign of anyone. Also it would have been more welcoming if the cushions had been put out on the chairs on deck. Otherwise it all was lovely!

Room was comfortable and the views were pretty

For the cost, the food was average and it felt like we were just herded along with other boats to the same “attractions” on the same schedule. It was an expensive night and I would prefer to have done a day cruise and stayed onshore where I could have eaten much better for way cheaper.

Purtroppo c’è tantissima gente nella baia e perde un po di autenticità, ma con la crociera si riesce ad assaporare qualche momento unico
