Good Indian and vegetarian food

It was an unforgettable experience with Ambassadar cruise. We went for overmight cruise with family, everyone enjoyed a lot. The timings were punctual, and check in/out process was smooth. Halong Bay location was beautiful, and wonderful experience of Kayaking, and boats. Rooms with balcony are luxurious, clean with compfy bed. The food was delicious, and exceptional. Being Indian Vegetarian, they really setup the food as per my request. Dinner was awesome with nice outdoor seating, fire place, and live music. Thanks to chef Dhansingh. The Manager and staff are lovely, and took care of us in all aspects. Would definitely recommend.

Communication about the pick up & drop off from the hotel wasn’t made clear, therefore I was under the impression that it was included, only to found out at the last minute that it wasn’t. Had to make last plans to book a pick up and drop off service.

Truly excellent staff, amazing food and all round a very enjoyable experience.

The staff were extremely sweet, helpful and reactive. A la carte dinner was good; lunch and breakfast were okay but in my opinion not up to a 5 star standard.

The overall state of the ship is quite poor. You can tell that it has seen better days. Furniture looks old and used. The worst part was the mold in the bathroom and the uncomfortable sewer smell. When we stayed on the boat it was quite cold outside and we were freezing in our cabin. We asked the staff to turn on the heating but they couldn’t do anything because that would have turned on the heating in all rooms. We were only offered additional blankets since there was no way to regulate the heating in the room individually. Windows also need cleaning.
