The room was large. They had a storage room that you could keep your bicycle and they had a number of tools to help fix any issues. Breakfast was excellent with local cuisine and the dining room had several wooden carvings that were interesting. It was a good stop while I was on the Kaido bike route.

There is no toilet in the room. There were several separate bathrooms for males and females. This was not an issue for us.

The breakfast was worth the stay alone. It authentic and delicious.

nous n'avons pas pu dîner car nous n'avions pas eu d'option. le restaurant que le personnel nous a conseillé etait fermé et rien aux alentours. nous avons du manger dans notre chambre des nouilles instantanées

We were two Westerners staying in a traditional Japanese ryoken. Therefore only traditional breakfast as expected and futons on tatami mats which were very comfortable. The ryoken has male and female public bath which enabled us to develop our bath house etiquette before moving onto an onsen. Craft brewery nearby - Omishima Brewery and cafe called Sando.

No ensuite, communal toilets, which we knew before booking.
