Karma Kayak

Karma Kayak was one of the highlights of our stay on Gili Trawangan. Compared to many other places on the island, it feels calmer, more mature, and exceptionally well maintained. The beachfront location is beautiful, and the snorkeling right in front of the property is fantastic – we regularly saw sea turtles in the mornings. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, the pool area was always immaculate, and we slept very well throughout our 9-night stay. You can tell that Grace and her team genuinely care about every detail and work incredibly hard to create a great guest experience. The food deserves special mention. Breakfast à la carte directly on the beach was a wonderful way to start the day. Our favourites were the French Toast, Pineapple Crepes, and Eggs Shakshuka. The menu is creative, with excellent vegetarian and vegan options. The Crispy Korean Tofu could convert even the biggest tofu sceptic. We also loved the tacos, the Korean Bowl, and the Gourmet Burger – honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The tapas selection is perfect for sharing. This is an ideal place for couples or solo travellers who appreciate a relaxed, stylish, and well-kept atmosphere.

The only downside was the occasionally unstable internet connection. However, this seems to be a general issue across the island.

Everything! The location is perfect, it is a calm area with nice beach. The garden is well maintained and the rooms are very clean!

Nothing. Only the breakfast menu could be a little more diverse.

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand, entspannte Atmosphäre, Restaurant super, Team sehr freundlich und aufmerksam - vor allem das freundliche Lächeln von Ali welches uns jeden Morgen begrüßt hat werden wir vermissen, sehr saubere Unterkunft und Gesamtanlage!

Die Matratze, da man den Federkern durchgespürt hat. Als Optimierung wäre z.B. ein Topper toll, das würde die Betten toll aufwerten.

Karma kayak is exceptional. I was amazed with the facilities, the staff, and the beach just in front. Special compliments to the chef too, every meal was amazing. They made everything about my stay easy.

We had a problem with the flight and the manager was very helpful,which was totally great. Other employees were also very nice, we felt very good.

The only thing we missed was proper coffee. But we realise that we are spoiled 😁 to je really proper espresso.

Snorkeling straight out from room with turtles. Away from the noisy Habour side, but close enough to easily visit.

Nothing been before & will go again.
