Augusta Hotel Motel

We booked our stay at the last minute while travelling through Augusta during a powerful storm. We ended up arriving well after check-in hours, so we were incredibly grateful for how flexible, understanding, and ready to help the staff were. A beautiful couple went above and beyond to make sure we could get into our room and settle in safely. Being welcomed with such kindness made all the difference☺️

There wasn’t anything significant we didn’t like.

Outdated. Teeny tiny poratable heater smaller than a breadbox. faucets in bathroom loose.

Dated place, but not in a cute way. Was freezing when we arrived and had to dig up a space heater that is surely a fire hazard. While linens were clean, they had stains from prior usage. And cups and mugs were not clean.

We stayed in the motel area, so the facilities were quite simple — but still perfectly enough for what we needed: a comfortable place to rest for one night after a long day exploring. What made the stay memorable was the atmosphere around Augusta that evening. The sky turned into the softest shades of pink, making everything feel unbelievably romantic and peaceful. A quiet little moment that I’ll always remember 🌸
