The staff was very courteous. Fairly large bathroom.

While the location was close to the centre of town, cars cannot come close to the entrance of the hotel - they need to park on a side road that is about 120 metres away and haul their suitcases along an uneven scooter path. From the entrance, one has to do down a few steps to tie reception. There is no lift in the building. Our room was on the second floor but Gusti (the caretaker) was very kind enough to bring our suitcases up to our room. This is the first time that we were staying in a guesthouse. I noticed that there were a few more guesthouses on the same road, all probably having the same limitations. There are few proper hotels in Ubud.
