Ryokan Ryokufuso

Ryokan Ryokufuso was brilliant; it exceeded expectations. The perfect blend of beautiful traditional Japanese tatami rooms with modern hotel amenities. The staff were so warm and friendly (we appreciated the lesson in putting on the yukata!), and it was amazing to have a 24-hour reception and to be able to drop the key at the front desk when we went out. The onset was terrific, the hotel was top-notch in general, and it was an easy walk from Kyoto station. We'll be back!

I cannot recommend this ryokan highly enough. I loved absolutely everything about my stay. The room was beautiful, with impeccable taste in every detail of the decoration, creating that perfect balance between elegance and tranquillity. Sleeping on the futon was a wonderful experience in itself – incredibly comfortable and one of the best nights of sleep I had during my trip to Japan. What truly made this place special, however, was the people. Every single member of the staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. Their warmth made me feel at home from the moment I arrived, and their hospitality embodied everything I had hoped to experience in Kyoto. The location was also perfect. I was able to walk everywhere, exploring the city at my own pace before returning each evening to this peaceful haven. Some places simply become part of your memories of a journey, and this ryokan will always be one of them. I will never forget my stay here, and I sincerely hope to return one day.

Localização, onsen muito bom, instalações muito boas

Não gostei do facto de não haver cortinas anti passagem de luz. À hora do amanhecer o quarto ficava cheio de luz e acordamos muito cedo. Na limpeza ao quarto, as funcionárias alteraram o sítio das nossas coisas, que acho que nos faz sentido porque temos de ter liberdade de onde colocar, respeitando sempre as regras do hotel.

친절한 직원들 덕분에 완벽한 교토 여행이 되었습니다. 조식도 너무 정갈하고 맛있었어요. 퇴실할에 아이 곰돌이 인형을 놓고 나왔는데 친절하게 찾아주셔서 너무 감사했습니다.
