Ryokan Ryokufuso

We stayed here for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, calming, and very spacious. The onsen was clean and relaxing. Access to public transport was good, and there were many restaurants within a short walking distance. I would stay here again!

We had a great check-in experience. The staff were welcoming and even showed us how to wear a yukata. Our room was very clean and had everything as mentioned in the property details. The location was in a relatively quiet area and convenient to take buses or taxis from.

Loved the onsen and service of employees

mattresses are very thin on the floor. Also the sheet covering of the duvet always came off if you are a restless sleeper

Nous avons essayé le dîner à l’hôtel et aurions aimé un peu plus d’ambiance traditionnelle au niveau de la salle (exemple dîner sur tatamis, musique locale…)

This Ryokan was the perfect combination of traditional Japanese and modern comfort! The minute we walked in we knew we were going to enjoy the stay. Staff: All the staff were so friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were given a tour of our room, and a demonstration of how to wear our yukata robes. Room: We loved our room! Had low expectations knowing that the beds were on the floor, but they were actually quite comfortable and really added to the experience. The bathroom in our room was gorgeous, spacious, and the shower had the best water pressure. Onsen: We soaked in the on-site onsen every night of our stay, which felt amazing after 20,000+ steps each day! Loved this part of the experience. Meals: We requested the traditional KAISEKI dinner one night, and the Japanese breakfast one morning. Both set menus were delicious! We wore our yukata robes both times which was fun. Location: Very convenient, easy walk to Kyoto station.
