TV put too high at walls.

Location convenient next to a shopping complex and a bus terminal. Happy there is an option for visitors to stay in Tamput, but much improvements could be made (see below).

Booking.com offered us an upgrade to a room with a city view (ie window) but when we arrived we were given a room without a window. The reception staff said there were no rooms with windows for us until our second night, and gave us a refund of 10 ringgit but this did not match what we paid booking.com for the upgrade for the first night (20 ringgit). The room without a window had a huge cockroach in the bathroom. There was also very loud construction noise until about midnight because there was a new shop being set up next door. The room the second night we were moved to with the window was much larger, cleaner and more comfortable - except for having many mosquitoes in the room which stopped us sleeping. There was also no toilet paper or enough soap in both rooms.
