The caravan is lovely - it's well located within the caravan park and a convenient base for getting to other places. It's set out lovely and having 2 doors works well and a lovely decking area giving great views over Loch Ryan

The only downside was the TV set up - we just couldn't work out how to get it on 🫣 although when we informed Rebecca she did ask her mother to come down and try to sort it out and although it eventually worked the signal kept dropping out so in the end we just didn't bother with it Other than that everything else was good

Cost and location. Close to Irish ferry

No towels supplied even though it was advertised as being included. Shower was mouldy and owner did not reply to messages or phone calls

Lovely break away.The caravan was really lovely for a family break.

No shower curtain. Didn't want to soak the bathroom. Everything else was well equipped.

The view was lovely, the position of the caravan was brilliant. People on site such as staff were very friendly and welcoming. The beach was really handy being just across the road.

On arrival the caravan had hardly been cleaned, windows were filthy. There was food and mess under the cushions of the sofas and under on the floor as well as finding what looked like tic tacs but could have been tablets? When the shower was on it was flooding, turned out to be a blocked outlet that I had to clean myself which ended up being previous guests hair causing the blockage. The blinds were dirty and damaged. I had asked for the single beds to be put together which I had been told was no problem but had to do this myself, on closer look the bedding was dirty and had marks on both the duvet cover and bed sheet. In the room with the double bed this clearly needed cleaning properly, as there were marks on the bedding the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed as I tried to use the vacuum and this didn’t work, there was dust and hair from previous guests around the edges of the room which clearly hadn’t been cleaned. I had tried to make contact through the booking website to have contact with the owner, to let them know about the issues when we arrived. however received no response or communication until the day before we left which was just a standard message to say what to do on departure.

El lugar era tal cual las fotos

Falta de higiene total. Todo estaba sucio y usado. Había pelos en las sábanas y en los sanitarios. Las sábanas estaban manchadas y usadas. Había una sola toalla húmeda y sucia colgada detrás de la puerta del baño que lógicamente no usamos. Había basura en el cesto de la cocina y rastros de comida en la mesa y el piso. Una pena porque el lugar es bello y la cabaña muy funcional. No es la primera vez que alquilamos caravanas y esto jamás nos había ocurrido. Deben replantear el tema higiene que en nuestro caso NO EXISTIÓ. Dormí vestida porque realmente me dio bastante asco pensar que nadie había limpiado entre un huesped y otro.

The whole place was filthy Sheets stained , duvet covered in mould Cobwebs and dirt everywhere Floors filthy Fly infested Fridge broken Rusty microwave Windows filthy Rotten food and old fog biscuits under the couches Lights in rooms don’t work Toilet was filthy 1 manky stained towel for all of us also and it was stinking Decking is a hazard Stayed 1 night and booked another caravan at another site Impossible to reach owner , tried phoning tried messaging Even booking . Com couldn’t contact by phone and email Reception tried to call with no response Eventually they got hold of her father and told him the situation and he said he couldn’t reach her either but he would keep trying Ruined my kids whole holiday This place I’m not joking is just filth

I had my nine month old pup with me and a big positive was the caravan park itself had lots of other dog owners, who were very friendly. A three minute walk and myself and my pup were on the beach, running free! Beautiful location. So handy to have a bar and restaurant on site. The van itself was very clean. I couldn't get through hoover provided to work unfortunately to clean up the sand we kept bringing in! Double bed was comfy and shower was very powerful. Good sized fridge and freezer. Good sized longue area. It was a heatwave when we stayed and it was great to have easy opening windows. The swimming pool on site can be booked in the site office. Loved the sound of that loch when sitting on the balcony reading!

The cooker possibly needs updating. It was gas and worked well but the markings had been rubbed off with wear and tear. Do remember to bring your own towels, it maybe said that in the arrival instructions. A clothes horse would have been handy.
