Aladdin Motel By OYO Merritt Island

Great staff, very clean owners, staff, and rooms. Rooms are remodeled and in very good condition despite the exterior of the hotel and nothing is broken or damaged in the rooms

Check-in was a little slow; no one was in the office in the early evening (around 6pm) and they didn’t respond to the doorbell. Finally had to call them on the phone to get someone to check us in. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was excellent for our purposes (an engagement in Cocoa, just a mile away across the causeway). Parking was easy. Check-out was a tad disconcerting; they were banging on the door at 11:02 am just as we were about to open the door to leave. However, they were super kind and carried our bags down to the parking lot from the second floor (no elevator). I would stay there again. It’s nothing fancy but a decent value for a short stay. Met my top criteria; no bugs, clean, and kind staff.

Very nice. Spick and span!! Close to everything. The couple running the place were super nice.

The Hotel double booked me and gave my room away because I did not pay beforehand (even though payment at the location is advertised on the listing). The hotel is situated at a loud road and was rather sketchy.

It is a smaller motel but don't let that keep you from coming here. The staff was very welcoming and kind to us. They upgraded our room to a suite for us due to unforeseen circumstances. How lucky! It had a vintage feel to it, but it had many modern amenities, such as a beautiful tile shower with a great, powerful shower head with a great sink. It was very affordable and suited our needs just right. Just know that the highway is directly across from it, so you late-risers might not get to sleep in till checkout like you always do.

Location is close to river and beach.

Fighting, lots of drug use and selling drugs in the parking lot, hookers, police chases, police yelling at people while making arrests

This is an older motel that has been renovated but only a simple inexpensive remodel. Nice people at front desk
