Aladdin Motel By OYO Merritt Island

My stay at that hotel was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. There are unsavory people living in that hotel. There were even people who still had Christmas lights up. There were many people wandering around and when I would go to my car, I would be followed, I felt totally unsafe. There is no lobby to go into you. Talk through a small hole and a glass like if you were at a post office or someplace. the room I have to say was superficially clean, but it looks like someone had taken a ball-peen hammer the inside of the door had dents all over it Refrigerator also had dents all over it like someone had taken a hammer and hit it. I mean hundreds of times! This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. There were actual hold burnt in the bedspread and also when I when I pulled the covers off the bedspread to make sure that I had left anything in the room at the bottom of the sheets there was a huge stain. . I was absolutely sick to my stomach when I saw that! The blinds and the curtains were also broken and torn, and when I opened up the curtain to look outside of my bedroom window, there were wheelchairs and potty chairs stacked up to the window beside the building and someone living in the hotel was putting those there. I will never stay at the OYO Alladin again. I will never recommend it to anyone to stay there, and I really think that there is more going on at that hotel than it simply being a place for people to sleep.

It was not in the best area

Had a great stay was there for couple nights. Room was clean and comfortable. Will use again. Really liked being able to walk to riverfront in mornings. Couple who ran it were very friendly and accommodating.

The Management was VERY Considerate, the room was SUPER clean. I had a small issue with the refrigerator upon entering my room, called them to report the issue, they sent someone over with in 10 minutes to fix the problem. I find the staff to be very professional and I would highly recommend this property and Management staff.

HONESTLY, with the Money I paid, it was well worth every dime. The Aladdin is not a (5) star hotel, nor was it advertised that way. It served my purposes perfectly. It also appears the Management is in the process of doing some small updates. It would be nice if it had a pool, but the property is not large enough to accommodate it.

The place well located for walking to restaurants and 7-11. It was 5 min drive to the Historic Cocoa Village. Room was clean and comfortable. Check In was a breeze
