Ichifujiso

Het was een typische traditionele ryokan, dus een ervaring die je mee wilt maken. En het ligt bijna direct aan het Kawaguchiko meer, een mooi plaatsje waar je bij mt. Fuji wilt zijn geweest.

Het bed was niet geweldig, maar in een ryokan weet je dat van tevoren natuurlijk al, aangezien het een soort matje is. Je moet het bed zelf neerleggen, dus kunt ook meerdere matjes op elkaar leggen om het wat comfortabeler te maken voor jezelf. Daarnaast is de eigenaresse heel vriendelijk en wil alles voor je goed doen, maar kan helaas weinig Engels.

So happy we were able to stay here. We booked the Japanese style room and loved it, we had the best sleep ever. The owner is a sweet lady, welcoming and super friendly. She speaks a little English (basic) but she was ready with her google translate to show us around. They do have a small onsen for guests to use up to 30 min! Location is great too, right on the lake and also from our room (205) we could see the Mt Fuji. She also allowed us to leave the bags for a few hours before our night bus. Highly recommend staying here.

Wish we stayed longer :(

It is cost-effective to stay. Room is clean and quiet. And very close to the lake which means only one minute of walk.

We arrived late at night. It took a while to walk from the station to the hotel. Street was dark and empty.

Es una locura de experiencia. Lo llevan dos señores mayores pero al señor prácticamente no lo ves, la mujer lo que hace todo. No hablan ni una palabra de inglés pero con el traductor se entienden. Si lo que queréis es una experiencia lujosa o medio fina este no es vuestro sitio, pero si buscáis entender como vive la gente tradicional es genial. Duermes en un futón que te montas tú mismo, te dejan un té de cortesía al llegar a la habitación (riquísimo) y la experiencia del onsen es brutal, te dejan suave. Lo mejor es el desayuno… por ahora ha sido mi mejor comida en Japón, todo casero hecho por una abuela japonesa y muy abundante, aunque no tenga nada que ver con lo que en Europa entendemos por un desayuno. Luego salí a correr y las vistas a menos de 1km del monte Fuji son como para quedarse a mirarlo horas, con el lago se refleja su imagen y es una locura (si tenéis suerte con el tiempo porque se hace de rogar que asome). Está a 15 mins andando de la estación y en una buena ubicación del pueblo, con supermercados y eso. Recomiendo 100%, iba solo y para mi ha sido como vivir en una peli.

Para los más exquisitos, vais a ver manchas en paredes, en el “colchón” o alguna telaraña, pero vaya típicas de que son cosas antiguas o en rincones a los que no llega la señora, está todo limpísimo. Un detalle importante es que la casa está en medio de un cementerio, cuando llegué flipé un poco, pero los espíritus se han portado genial y he dormido de locos.

De gastvrouw en gastheer waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De traditionele Japanse kamer had mooi uitzicht op Mt. Fuji. Het ontbijt was erg uitgebreid en de onsen was erg fijn.

Los propietarios eran muy agradables y atentos!

部屋に冷蔵庫がない。布団のマットレスが汚すぎる。ホテルの隣が墓。
