Budget Host Inn - Emporia

We have stayed here before and found it the same: clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The owners are kind. It is older, but they keep it in good shape.

Older place, but neat and tidy. The parking lot was very clean with no trash in yard. The staff were very nice and professional

The county was working on the water leak so we did not have water in the morning - not the fault of the property owners - you could hear the train when we first got there but not during the night.

Great value. Big room. TV, fridge, HVAC. Parking directly in front of the room. I'd stay again, for sure!

The hotel is located outside town, so it's not convenient for walking. The mattress was a bit old and worn. Could use replacing soon.

While older and not updated recently, the owner and his family keep things clean. Also, surprisingly decent WiFi for such an inexpensive motel. It was about as much as I could hope for from a Budget Host Inn

The freight trains. They go pretty much all night. I didn't sleep well at all, despite earplugs and a comfy bed. Nothing the owners can do about that, though.
