"Genuine traditional onsen experience"

If you're looking for a proper and traditional japanese hot spring hotel experience, definitely consider staying here. The staff was very kind and attentive. They didn't speak English, but had prepared a translation of all important information for us in English and did their best to give us a good experience. The hot spring facilities were beautiful and the room was also very nice. If you want dinner at the hotel, you need to book it in advance. But there's several good restaurants in town.

Be aware that getting to Kusatsu Onsen Town from Tokyo take some hours and to prepare cash for the bus tickets. The bus does not accept Suica.

"Splendid for Kusatsu :)"

It’s very close to bus station. Their public onsen was exceptional! They had both indoor and outdoor onsen for both men and women. And it was available almost 24 hrs. Staffs and services were also nice. Splendid to relax on your vacation. Wanted to stay more. I really loved it. :)
