Touchwood Motor Inn & Inner City Camping Ground

Excellent location so close to the city. Free parking and great salt water pool 🤔(well I think it was salt water) reception was great as we arrived after reception closed, they left key in lock box for us. Room was tidy and comfortable for our needs.

We stayed in Room 11 - The double/bed was hard and difficult to get around to far side, it seemed too big for the room and badly placed. The shower was weak. The unit was dated BUT it was tidy and clean for its age. Still a great place to stay.

They had beautiful sheets

I have asked for a full refund due to the following. The bathroom floor has a gap before the shower base full width that you can see 3 meters to the ground. The shower is illegal and only runs hot. Too hot to stand under and when turned down the trickle is the size of a pen. The Lino is disgusting, dirty and not fitted to floor. The carpet has a burn the size of a bucket in the lounge, paint broken off many walls. The coffee table is made of cardboard and threatens to break just looking at it. The window don’t close without some force from the outside and screws fall out when roughed. When I spoke to the manager he said that room had been done up. I would absolutely hate to see one that had not been done up. I would definitely never recommend this family unit to anyone. And yes I am still waiting for my refund of $226.80 from 17.1.2025

It was old, tired and smelly. The access to the room was up a very steep set of stairs. There are cobwebs in the bedroom
