It was old, tired and smelly. The access to the room was up a very steep set of stairs. There are cobwebs in the bedroom
NZThe location. It was close to everywhere I was going to. This is my second time staying there and the owners were just as helpful and friendly as the first time I was there. The room I was in is the same one I stayed in in my first visit and was the perfect size for me.
The cleaning staff didn't service my room and I ended up going to ask the owners for more towels etc late in the afternoon. Also some of the dishes were dirty like plates, cutlery etc

INI liked that the room was quiet, warm and safe. The owner was open and frank. The site has tall trees. The hot shower was good.
I didn't know that I'd be switched to booking.com from Google Maps, and that if I'd booked directly I could make it refundable. I wasn't warned that the facilities would be under repair and I'd be using a portaloo (which was full on Sunday morning) and a portashower, which didn't drain well.

The curtain on the only window did not cover the window fully, was 20mm short and people could look in from the driveway and see into the bed. The curtain was also mouldy and dirty. The walls of room were generally dirty with marks above the pillows on the main bed. There were unpainted gib repair marks and generally untidy. It was not value for $220, for that cost you would expect a jug and coffee/tea making and towels to be supplied.
