Mimatsuso Ryokan

An incredible traditional Ryokan, with the most wonderful hosts. Very comfortable rooms, a lovely bath. Very clean and accommodating. Wish we could stay longer!

The staff are amazing, such a nice ryokan in a great location. The owners greeted us as welcoming us to their home. We were only there for one night but it was really nice. Lots of amenities provided, they are so thoughtful and kind. I would stay there again!

The owners are the sweetest ever. We really feel like staying over at the grandparents‘ house.

The stairs are a bit steep and one has no handle at all.

We stayed for four nights in Mimatsuso Ryokan, a traditional Japanese-style hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Particularly the hosts are very hospitable and helpful. We are also very glad that we ordered the traditiona Japanese-style breakfast, which is very good and worth of the money. Our room is spacious for 3 persons. My wife and daughter also enjoyed wearing the traditional Japanese clothes, which was offered by the hosts for free.

The staff was so lovely. An elderly couple runs the place and they're very helpful and kind. We appreciated the little gift bag. We also liked the fact that we got a bedroom and a separate sitting room to ourselves. Lovely. After check-out, we got to leave our car in the lot for another few hours, which was very convenient.

The traditional bedding (futon) was a little flat, so my western hips were on the floor. XD We took the liberty of adding another layer from the linen closet in the room, and that fixed the problem.

Everything. It was so comfortable, clean, we are in love with it. Breakfast was really good and also owners are wonderful people.

Lovely old fashioned Ryokan. You feel like going back in time a couple of decades, but in a good way. Breakfast was nice and the family running the place is incredibly friendly. Nice and close to the station and close to the city center with plenty of restaurants. We had booked a single room, but were given 2 rooms (one as living space and one as bedroom) which was a really nice bonus! Would definitely recommend!
