Beautifully decorated throughout. Lovely large bedroom, extremely comfy bed. Michele and everyone working at Assakina could not have been more helpful. The cats were an added bonus !! We absolutely loved it here.

From the moment we arrived at Riad Assakina, we felt completely at home—this place is a rare gem. Nestled in the heart of Marrakesh, this beautifully restored riad is not only stunning but also incredibly easy to find, even after a night out. Our room was superb—a spacious suite with a well-appointed bathroom, blending comfort with authentic Moroccan charm. But what truly sets Riad Assakina apart is the staff. The entire team was wonderful, and Grant and Michelle went above and beyond, offering fantastic dining recommendations and insider tips on where to explore. This is not just a hotel; it’s so much more—it’s a home away from home. With only a few rooms, the atmosphere is intimate, allowing guests to connect with the staff and even mingle with fellow travellers if they choose. Breakfast was excellent—simple yet delicious, with options to keep us satisfied for the day ahead. The riad exceeded our expectations in every way. From arranging airport transfers to greeting us with afternoon tea and cake, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The location was perfect, the rooms were individually and tastefully decorated, and everything was immaculately clean. Our stay at Riad Assakina was nothing short of fantastic. We are already planning a return trip If you're looking for a warm, welcoming, and truly special place to stay in Marrakesh, look no further!

Grant and Michelle were excellent in helping us prepare for the trip, giving us tips, and helping us with last-minute requests in their Riad. The team is amazing, and you have a different experience while staying there. You interact with other guests and feel that your accommodation is much more than a place to sleep and leave your luggage. The place is outstanding and has been created with so many details, as the owners care about it!

Kindness of the personnel, always ready to help and give advice, much appreciated!!! Good breakfast and afternoon tea which we could also have in the evening, much appreciated. Appreciated the upgrade of the room. Being a couple of days the only guests in the riad, we were very happy to see also other guests arriving:-).

Personally I am not such a fan of cats in accommodations. My daughter on the contrary liked the cats a lot. As already indicated, the free airport transfer mentioned on booking.com did not appear to be true, you should update your data on booking to avoid these kind of surprises after confirming the booking.

I couldn't fault the accommodation, location, facilities, food, staff etc, it was a fabulous trip. Michelle, Grant and all the member's of staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, we were safe and that we got the most out of our four nights in Marrakesh

Michelle and Grant are outstanding hosts and exceeded our expectations. They arranged airport pickup, greeted us warmly with tea and cookies, gave us recommendations for eateries and sights, always made sure all our needs were met. The riad was centrally located, very easy to find, each room individually and tastefully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was delicious! Everything was fantastic!

Riad was stunning and very authentic and host was extremely helpful and made us feel at home. We loved our breakfast on the rooftop and the specially prepared dinner was delicious.
