Camel Trek Bivouac

Stayed in double room in the town. Great location if you want to stay in walking distance to the centre. Host was easy going. Old building but everything works.

Nice host and his family. Actually I think the host hosts the activity like camel riding etc. so mainly he offers the activity package. e.g. 40€/person for breakfast + riding camel + dinner. After riding camel about 18:00 about 2 hours before the sunset (in our time), we arrive the camp with the camel. Get into the tent, dinner, some welcome music around the fire. Then sleep, breakfast. We leave in the morning. But some can still ride the camel in the morning or quad etc. overall, we really enjoy the camel riding.

Very good price- quality ratio. The two men are very helpful and very kind. They made sure all of our needs were met. The highlight of our stay in Camel Trek was riding the quads, which was very fun and we also got to do some sandboarding with the guide of the quad tour.

There are no showers in the camp nor soap to wash your hands, make sure to bring your own. Dinner choices are limited for vegetarian people.

We felt very well at Camel Trek Bivouac. Youssef is kind and attentive. Location is very good, close to the bus stations, shop and a walking distance to the dunes. Breakfast was lovely, clean beds and warm water. As budget travellers, this was perfect for us.

A very nice place to stay in merzouga, the host is very welcoming as well as his family! The room is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is also very well prepared. 5 minutes to the center and got supermarket very near.

The host, Yusuf, was extremely kind. This place is actually a departure point to the desert camp (this is not explained very well in the ad), and to go there with camels and all, we paid extra. The adventure he offered was extremely well organized, we were well taken care of, the guys were very helpful and kind, the desert camp was amazing, good food, wonderful conditions, they also lit a fire, they played the local timpani and sang. Wonderful organization, everything was perfect, the staff was very kind. Highly recommend and many thanks to the host and his guys!!

The staff were so courteous. They also helped me arrange a desert tour and helped me store my luggage in the room during that time. I was grateful that they prepared light meals on the day of departure. Thank you.

It is difficult to unlock the room door.

Youssef is a very nice and hospitable person. His mediate of the camel expedition with overnight in the desert is great, thank you! :)
