Camel Trek Bivouac

The owner is one of the friendliest and most helpful person we ever met in Morocco. We did the desert tour with him and he was open to the idea that we can walk to the camp, instead of taking a camel. The tour itself was very good and we really liked the food. The day after the tour he helped us to organise a bus transfer back to Marrakech and he was so nice to bring us there. The room itself is simple but very clean. For that price it was way better than expected. If you are looking for a good accomodation in Merzouga stay here. We can highly recommend it.

The room was a bit warm, because there was no fan. But it was still possible to sleep because of the comfortable bed. :-)

Perfect location in Merzouga with excellent and helpfull hosts. The rooms are large and have a comfy bed. There is a shared area to chill out which is great and where they serve delicious breakfast in the morning. Excellent value for money and the overnight camel trek was a suberb experience in the desert with music, dinner, campfire and a wonderful sunset. Thanks Youssef!

On hot days a van in the room would be a great add, but other than that nothing.

Everything was perfect. It feels like a home away from home. I truly appreciate the dinner that they gave me throughout my stay. Location is near the bus station too. It's really 11/10 for me. 😌

Hotel: Good value for very little money! Clean room, nice breakfast, good responsiveness via WhatsApp. We were allowed to stay in our room after check-out time. desert Camp: we were the only two guests but still got a really nice program. The food in the desert was amazing and a lot! The location of the camp is pretty good. Whereas some are already outside of the desert, Youssef’s Camp is still in the dunes.

It’s a typical, simple house. Don’t expect anything fancy, but it’s really good value for money! communication was sometimes a bit difficult because Youssef’s wife didn’t speak English or French (and we don’t speak Arabic) but she was really nice and caring!:)

Great place to sleep near the bus stop, close to the dunnes. Very clean room and bathroom, people nice and kind instead of that nobody spoke english (but it's not a problem these days), great price including even breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and filling, even that they had to prepare it at 6:00 a.m. according to our early departure in the morning. Comfortable bed, hot water in the shower, towels and soap for free.

I was thinking about anything I could complain but I didn't find even one thing. It's seen that everybody do their best to make you feel good and spend great time there

Perfect location, simple but comfortable room, great breakfast, owner helpful - can arrange several extras at affordable prices. Our evening walk by camel to the dunes was a delight.

Perfect location to visit Erg Chebbi on your own. Walking distance from bus station, all restaurants, and the dunes. They allowed me a super early check in as my bus arrived at 7 am. As well they provided me with the included breakfast at 6.30 am so I could catch my bus leaving soon after.
