It was close to the port

The rooms were dirty and very dilapidated. The toulet was broken and not clean. It was difficult to find the staff to check in and out as they don't have a check in area. The photos are very misleading

There were no mosquitoes.

Good location, clean good sized room and bathroom. Good price point and highly recommended

Only sheet provided, rather than light duvet similar to other properties I have stayed in, so woke up fairly cold. Easily overcome by wearing a t shirt and shorts to bed. I like a cooler room, but just adjusted my bedwear to suit the a/c

Nothing to like

Very unkempt, not clean, bathrooms dirty, bungalows in need of major work, rubbish in and around the communal dining area

Spacious family room. Room was available at short notice after our other accommodation cancelled on us, leaving us exceptionally little choice. Mosquito net option. Breakfast was simple but ok.

Air con very noisy. Had to turn it off in the night and try to get by with ceiling fan, else wouldn't have got any sleep. Toilet seat was a joke, was just placed on the toilet completely loose. Sea water shower only. Could have done with a main light in the room.

The location was good, quick walk to restaurants and attractions

It looks nothing like the photos. No warm water at all. Shower water was salty and smelt like human shit. Didn’t get any blankets only one thin sheet. One of the worst nights I’ve slept

There was nothing to like about this property.

The owner is a fraud and does not honour his word, there is a reason why the booking is non- refundable..It is to trap you into paying the full amount only to realise the property is a massive health and safety concern. It is pure filth, the overwhelming smell coming from the bathroom was putrid, no amount of air freshener was able to mask it. In addition to the blood stained sheets, the bedding was old and ripped. My daughter’s bed had dirty foot prints on it. Originally booked 6 nights for myself and my 11 year old daughter and after a long journey across to the island we could only bear to stay 1 purely because we had no other choice. The owner verbally agreed to refund part of the booking, as we were required to find accommodation elsewhere but ceased all communication once we were off the island. We recently figured out this place has changed names, probably to escape from previous bad reviews. Booking.com really needs to update their policy for cases like this. As a consumer, we should have a right to feel safe and comfortable without fear of compromising our own health and wellbeing. I am seriously considering hiring a locally based lawyer to help us recover the costs as booking.com has failed to provide any form of support in terms of a resolution.

Poor condition, door didn't lock, fan didn't work, no hot water. Very rough room with exposed wires and broken switches.

Pillows and bed comfortable

Disgustingly dirty room, especially the bathroom. I had to clean other people's poo and Toothpaste etc off the bathroom. Toilet seat gross and broken. Floor of bungalow not swept rubbish under the bed. Not even a friendly welcome on arrival. Shower was a cold salty dribble only.we left after 1 night even though we paid for 3. Hard to find as it's really called Suri bungalow. Maybe a name change to disassociate bad reviews??
