Quite area next to the port.Large room with aircon

Simple but good, close location to the harbor. Walking distance to very nice beaches. Good shower with hot water. Clean.

Nice rooms with very helpful staff.

The power cut out quite a few times in the early evening, however it did stay on throughout the night.

Staff are really friendly and helpful but the bungalows are pretty basic and not very clean. Toilets leaked and the garden and outdoor area were very scruffy. Dining area very rough. But Meno is lovely , and its been a very tough few years for the island with an earthquake, covid and a fire. Definatly our favorite gili.

Unfortunately our stay wasn’t the best. On our first night the hot water didn’t work. Then the sink tap had no water at all, so it made it very difficult to clean teeth wash hands etc. My kids had to use the shower. It was very dark at night inside the bungalow because there was only one little lamp for the whole room. The air conditioner stopped working during the night. There was a snake near our bungalow. If all this wasn’t already super frustrating, when I went to go find the staff there was never anybody there. I had to contact someone through the booking. Com app. We ended up leaving a night early. And because when we left there again was no staff around to tell them we were leaving. The owner put in a complaint on me and has claimed I damaged the property. Never again will I stay there.

We had a fantastic stay at II Homestay! We went beginning/mid October and were the only guests at this homestay. The owners were super welcoming, accommodated an early check-in for us and arranged a snorkelling trip for us the same afternoon. The rooms were great, big beds with a mosquito net, a good AC, a small closet to store things and 2 beds in front of the bungalow in the shade for sunbathing/lying outside. There was also a common area with tables for breakfast and water for us to refill. Honestly, the biggest plus of this Homestay was the kind owners, they even brought us to Gili T (for a reasonable price) early in the morning and got up extra early to cook us breakfast. And the breakfast was also great - variety from pancakes, to toast to omelets and drinks from smoothies to fresh juices to tea. Overall an amazing stay and would recommend again! The walk from the harbour is also a maximum of 5 minutes and the wifi works quite well.

There is almost nothing that we didn't like, the only thing that could be improved is that some showers were cold and the lights in one of the bathrooms was broken. Other than this minor complaint there is nothing that we would change or could wish for more.

Friendly staff. Really clean and spacious room and bathroom. Offered bike rental (but really old bikes). Delicious breakfast (you can choose from many options, eggs/toast/pancakes, coffee/tea/fresh juices/milk). Close to harbor and early check in was possible.

The proximity to the port was great and the area was very quiet. We were allowed to check out later and there was hot water for tea or coffee.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed, as we had read in several reviews beforehand that they would take care of the facility being made nice again. Unfortunately, this was not the case, since the facility looks very run down and the employees prefer to deal with their cell phones. I understand that the financial resources are probably lacking at the moment, but at least the outdoor facilities can be maintained. Unfortunately, the reception was not very warm and it was not even checked whether we had a booking. There was a hello and here is your room, that was our greeting. 😔 The electricity meters in several rooms kept beeping at night, which is unfortunately very annoying for someone who is very sensitive to noise. For the same money you can find better accommodation on Gili Meno.
