Western Ridge Motel

I slept in a bed warm & dry. The shower was hot. Bathe towels were clean. Bed was warm. Wall heater worked. The help at the motel next door was gracious, kind, pleasant & helpful. It was weds oct 20. A sweet tiny girl who worked with me to find a suitable room & extra towels.

Beds had stains on sheet, bed spread dirty, floor was disgusting. Room stunk. Was told it was the cleanest. Did not stay. We were refunded our money. We cannot express how bad the room was. I would not let our puppies walk on the floor it was so dirty.

What a sad place to stay. Holes in walls, heater from the 60's,70's. Took 3 hrs to get room halfway heated. Door has a Do not disturb sign on Motel door. TV had 5 channels but not clear at all. Remote control was broke. Holes in carpeting.

ok I get there at about 130pm and it did say check in at 3pm but most hotels I go to always let you check in at 130pm so I go in and there was a young man in the office! I can only guess he could not talk cause he did not but he showed me he texted his dad! At that point a woman came in and wanted change for the washers there! Then here comes this man you can tell he was really mad! He asked me what I wanted I said go ahead and take care of her first she just wants change! He said to me Why? If your here first! I just stood back so he took care of her. At that point he said and now what do you want? I said I wanted a room for 2 days b4 I could finish he cut me off and said that will be 100 a night cash! I said I had booked the rooms on booking.com and I would give him the ref numbers! I booked it for 45 a night! He said in that case check in is 330 pm if I still have any rooms! I said it says 3 pm and your suppose to hold me a room. He says I own this hotel its 330pm. I looked at his name tag and your going to laugh but it said Dumazz or pretty close! Anyway I said well I am not going to waste anymore of your time or mine and I left! I would never stay here it looked bad what I seen of it and would never put up with someone like him.

I was traveling alone on a motorcycle trip, just needed a place to sleep. I booked this hotel based on price with on online booking site. Once I arrived I was completely shocked by the outer appearance. This hotel looks like the ones we all see on the episodes of the television show Cops where the crack addicts live. To check into the hotel you go to the Super 8 lobby next door, where the hotel employee working could care less about you and is very rude. The hotel room was very dated, I mean very,very dated. The carpet was disgusting, I wore sandals in the room the whole time. The television had a bad picture and no remote. The bathroom sink, no knob to turn on the cold water. Bathroom didn't even offer the basic amenities, just a small bar of soap. I didn't feel clean,safe or comfortable staying here. Stay elsewhere of travel to another town if there aren't any more rooms in Wendover!!!

Customer Service was extremely Horrifying. The guy at the desk was India around 40, and he was extremely UNPLEASANT AND ANGRY. Upon our check in we were Extremely miss-treated by the hotel front desk clerk. We did not receive any greeting only hostility. If I had a choice to leave at that moment I would have but there was no other vacancy in Wendover Nevada. I was trying to get the correct change and his voice was getting louder saying the amount over and over, I finally said if you please give me a moment I will have the correct change. The end of paying he slap his fist on the counter and hand me the paper without giving us direction or our room number. we sat in the car and I did not want to go back in so my sister did to ask where our room was We check into the room and my sister check the bed sheet and there were several huge yellow spot on her side, I did not want to check mine. The bathroom tub had couple of spiders and the sink was clog up, the pillows did not had any pillow case, So we sat in the car after 15 minutes we went back to the front desk which I did not want to deal with the clerk again, but we work hard for our money, we were not treated with respect and kindness, as paying customer I would think we have the right to check out the room. I request if we can just get our money back, he said NO I have to check the room. Upon returning he said “Not refunding your money because one of the bed was already used. I tried to explain that my sister was only checking the sheet” He said "No" Not Giving you the refund and he put the keys away. This point I had no choice but to ask for the keys because this India person will not and would not show any customer skills, angry, unpleasant, greedy, refuse to help, the regards to highest level of any hospitality to paying guests. Something needs to be done, this guy can not be employed and treat guest like he has been doing to who knows how many he has mistreated and thinks he has the right to treat customer with hostility

it bothered us that the bathroom did not seem to have been cleaned recently. the carpeting crunched under our feet. there were some shoddy repairs, including a hole in the wall and some exposed wires. the lock was broken on one of the windows. we stayed on a very cold night and the heating was inadequate. one redeeming factor was the free wifi was fast.

The customer service was terrible, the guy was very rude but that was just the beginning, the room was not clean, the towels OMG we couldn't use them. don't walk on the floor in bare feet the carpet is sticky. definitely this is not a good place to stay

the person who checked us is was friendly, thats the only good thing i can say about the place. room wasn't very clean, It could use a remake. evict the bugs and mice would be nice. I entered the room and about 20 minutes later one of the worker people who was fixing stairs knocked on the door and ASKED FOR A CIGARETTE!! We checked in for 2 nights after the first night the maid WALKS IN WITHOUT EVEN KNOCKING!! and informs us we have 20 minutes to leave!! after getting that straightened out the second night hadn't started and people were knocking on the door they rented the room. called the office got a "very sorry" and imediatly hung up on. no never here again!! free breakfast sign out front right!!! was told we dont get it on this side! go figure!

I am not gona say its the best hotel in the town but it isn't that bad, rooms were alot better than i expacted, I think they were renovating couple rooms but it was not horrible, rooms were very cheap again you get your money out you get what you pay.
