Stybeck Farm

The location is beautiful, can’t beat the sounds of a working farm, no signal or wifi for the perfect peaceful stay. Lovely friendly host, an all round perfect place for a relaxing break.

I wasn’t keen on the toilets being away from the hut simply because when it’s cold or wet I don’t want to walk to the bottom of the road to use the toilet. However it’s not a huge problem and just my preference. Please also put in a better heater for the winter months, I would love to keep coming here!

Had a great stay here yes it's a working farm but the noise didn't bother us very comfortable sheapards hut with everything you need will definitely be back next year for a few of the local walks and to return a blanket that we accidentally packed thought it was ours SORRY

Nothing it's exactly what we were looking for

Self contained apartment, comfy double bed. Private parking area. Nice wood burning stove with good supply of logs. Fabulous welcome pack with bottle of wine, milk and breakfast cereals. Central location for easy journey's to Keswick or Ambleside or beyond.

Only one little niggle, no mirror next to an electric socket for hair dryer etc Could be easily remedied.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was fantastic and host was so friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast was great and set us up for our days.

A very active farm, delicious hill behind, waterfall sounding in the background and the best bacon sandwich at your door! Book your stay and go far away from the city! That's a perfect place to clear your mind, far from noises! The view is amazing simple and cosy!
