Stybeck Farm

Great Location. Stayed for 3 nights for my boyfriends 30th Birthday as we love our hikes. If you are into your hikes and walks Thirlmere Infinity Pool is close by and Helvellyn. The views surrounding the hut where stunning. The Animals walking free around we absolutely loved it. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Fresh free range eggs available. Cooking facilities also available such as: Stove, microwave, Kettle and Toaster and mini Fridge.

The farm is a short distance from Keswick and was a great base for our Lake District travels. The owner was fantastic! We had hung our socks to dry in the room while we were out, and she hung them outside and brought them back in for us. She went the extra mile in multiple ways. The hospitality was fantastic.

The only minor thing we could mention here is that the water pressure wasn’t the best. I believe most of the times we went to use the shower, there was also a fair few other people using the water so this could be the cause. We weren’t massively phased as the water was hot and we were still able to shower.
