Absolutely amazing location, the view 10/10. I was staying before starting the Humpridge Track and the location was perfect.

Larissa & Ton are superior hosts. Larissa is a great cook. The meals and wine choices were great. The views are spectacular. Close to the Hump Ridge Track in the lower Fiordland National Park. Worth the trip from Queenstown or Invercargill. I've stayed there three years, twice this year. Enjoyed it so much that I returned.

We loved our stay, particularly how genuinely welcome our hosts made us feel. Dinner and breakfast were superb. I would recommend a stay here, it was a true gem.

Loved the surprise of finding such superb accommodation and dinner in such a remote area of outstanding beauty.

Diese Unterkunft hatten wir ganz bewusst erneut ausgewählt, nachdem ich bereits vor drei Jahren mit meinem Sohn hier war – und auch diesmal mit meiner Frau wurden unsere Erwartungen voll bestätigt. Die super ruhige Lage mit dem schönen Blick, ein gutes Abendessen und ein gepflegtes Glas Wein machen den Aufenthalt hier besonders. Es war schön zu sehen, dass die Qualität über die Jahre gleich geblieben ist. Die Gastgeber Ron und seine Frau sind unglaublich herzlich, und die Gespräche am Abend hatten fast etwas Vertrautes – wie ein Wiedersehen nach längerer Zeit. Für uns ein Ort, zu dem man gerne zurückkehrt.
