Desert Inn Tucumcari

Pool, hot tub, waffles were delicious. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when I locked my key in my room and when my keys kept needing to be re-numbered.

Needs better dog area: rocks weren’t that great on dog feet and not enough room for multiple dogs from different families. Could also use some more protein options at breakfast. Door to room was difficult to open/close. I think the latch is coming off the wall and hitting it some.

Location was nice. The staff was very professional and friendly

The breakfast is very limited no meat products. Bed was Lumpy, someone brought a dog and it would bark throughout the night. The TV remote the only things that worked were the volume button, the power button, and the channel button. You could not punch in numbers to go to a station do you have to scroll through all of them. You had to push me off button to make TV come on. The good part is if you are staying for a night it's close to restaurants. If traveling through would stay there again but not more than one night. Rooms are very small
