"Amazing accommodation in the most beautiful location. I’ll be coming back."

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful location

I’d avoid weekends in future. Loud music and campers talking until the early hours on Saturday. Very inconsiderate and no sign of any staff asking them to be quiet. Luckily the yurts come with ear plugs.

"The whole family loved it."

8.0

The location was amazing. Could walk to Crummock or Buttermere in under 10 minutes and the views from the yurt were amazing. The swimming spot at Crummock was great and so quiet even in summer holidays. The yurt itself was spacious and comfy. Ear plugs were a welcome addition (for the noisy sheep). The kitchen hut have everything you’d need. Compost toilet was clean and handy right next to the yurts. It has a key so is only for the 2 yurts to use. The cafe do a breakfast pack that they deliver if you pre order the day before which was really good. Local pub was great. Lovely food and friendly staff. Fab beer garden.

Lack of fridge made it difficult when staying a week as there’s no shop for 30 mins drive so we were limited food wise. They need a little shop selling milk, eggs, meat etc. Luckily we brought long life milks. There is a freezer up in the bothy for freezer packs so you can keep switching them over to keep the cool box cold but it’s not cold enough to keep meat or dairy for more the no a couple of days.
