Clifford Gardens Motor Inn

The pictures that are bookings.com advertising the property are not what the property looks like and is false advertising. Upon our arrival we were very disappointed in the state of the accommodation as it didn't look like any of the photos on bookings.com. We went to park our car around the back of the motel and to our surprise there was a huge pile of rubbish including old bed mattresses and bases. It appeared to us that the lawns and gardens are not maintained on a regular basis and the entry to reception is concerning as I was required to walk up some stairs that presented unsafe and very old. The building looks very disappointing and needs a lot of maintenance. The presentation of the reception worker was not at all presentable or professional at all. My family and I paid for accommodation at this motel and due to the conditions and things that we see which was not inviting at all we didn't stay at the accommodation at all. I put the key for our room back in the key box and went and found accommodation elsewhere.

It was ok.. across the road from the shops and food facilities which was good

The spa leaked and the spa didn't work at all.. so it was just like having a bath which isnt what we paid for.. the bed was so uncomfortable.

Easy to find. The room was NOT as described in the sites photos - this motel has older un-rennovated rooms as well as newer rooms. The older rooms are desperately in need of repairs, maintenance and renovating as well as thorough cleaning. The wifi does not work. The TV is hit and miss. The new staff are struggling to find solutions so hopefully this improves over time. I can not and will not recommend this motel.

Wifi not working. TV not working. One wing of rooms ( our assigned room), very old, dirty, old tired furniture, broken blinds. Yuk.

Cold showers lights in bath room not working and there was smoke butts inside the book in the rubbish at side the rooms i was not happy because i like staying there

Fantastic location, comfortable beds. Great for just an overnight stay.

The property is a little dated and could benefit from some minor cosmetic updates, but it was clean and comfortable overall. The only issue we experienced was the toilet refilling intermittently throughout the night.
