Ao Marama Retreat

Duan and Elizabeth Ao Maramar is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Elizabeth and Duan bent over backwards to make our stay perfect even giving us snapper that Duan caught for our dinner one night. The tiny house is totally self contained with a fantastic cooker and kitchen set up. The bed is super comfy and there is a great sitting area. There are an abundance of areas to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings of the bush with fabulous views - even from bed - of beautiful Golden Bay. There is a fantastic short bush walk down to the beach which stretches for miles. Total paradise!!! Can’t wait to come back.

The place was amazing, great location, Stella view, the tiny home was clean and new and had everything we needed. The owner came and said hi and was really friendly. Over all absolutely loved the place it was so cool, can't wait to go back 😀

We stayed in the cottage for 2 nights which was very comfortable, the owner was fantastic and helped us access the beach to fish(no luck but fun). Beautiful bush setting with fantastic views over the ocean. Both the sunset and sunrise were amazing. Great location if spending a day on farewell spit. Would highly recommend

Bathroom facilites were an ensuite with the only access through the master bedroom. Not ideal for more than 1 couple but we made it work.

Super schöne Unterkunft, sehr gepflegte Anlage, sehr freundliche Gastgeber mit tollen Tipps, Küche gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber, toller Meerblick aus dem Bett heraus!
