Nayalap - Rural Himalayan Glamping

We loved our stay, really amazing tranquil place in an oak woodland in the mountains, very comfortable, great walks, and outstanding food. Highly recommended.

We stayed at both the wonderful tent site and then walked to the earth cottages which I highly recommend. Tanuja and her husband Anindia have created unique, thoughtful, and luxurious accomodation in both places They have a close relationship with the local community which enabled us to connect with the locals in a really positive way Tanuja took us on walks through the mountains and the local villages as well as accompanying us to the Dusshera festival and shared with us her deep understanding of local customs , the flora and fauna and history of the region She also was there at the end of the phone to rescue us when we got lost wandering around Ranikhet after a visit to the Ranikhet club! I can’t rate this stay more highly Thankyou so much Tanuja and special thanks to the beautiful Reika and Anita who cooked wonderful meals and looked after us so well at the Earth Cottage

Ac remote not functioning well, hot water not came aged people we find difficult .

Nothing remarkable to like about this property

The shower was dysfunctional with the lever broken. My background of engineering came in handy to maneuver it back, but it was quite a harrowing experience. The toilet seat was broken and fastened with some woodscrews!

Peaceful and comfortable stay away from the hustle bustle of the city. The chef's preparation of the food was also very good. Would love to visit again someday.

Our stay at Nayalap Glamping was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the thoughtfully designed spaces, the breathtaking views, and the sheer tranquility of the place. The food was absolutely out of this world—serving such delicious and well-prepared meals at this altitude, in such a remote location, is a testament to the dedication and hospitality of the team. A special shoutout to Chandan and Prem, who were always on their toes to cater to our smallest needs. Their warmth and attentiveness made our experience even more special. A huge thank you to Tanuja, the wonderful owner, who personally took us on a forest trail and a sunset hike. The entire experience—walking through the serene wilderness, engaging in enriching conversations, and soaking in the mesmerizing views—was truly unforgettable. Nayalap offers a wholesome and soul-nourishing experience, one that stays with you long after you leave. If you’re visiting Kainchi Dham and have even a day to spare, do yourself a favor and come here. You will not be disappointed!
