Sunny Mount Shepherd's Hut

Lovely peaceful location, very kind hosts. Waking up to the bleating of the sheep instead of a beeping of my alarm and getting to lay there to watch them was a great experience.

Quite far from amenities, which is an expected payoff of the rural location. Another minor hiccup is that the light in the bathroom kept switching off while I was showering.

Such a peaceful stay, bed really comfy, bathroom clean and tidy and shower was great. Close to some great waterfalls and walks.

This little shepherd's hut is nicely appointed and comfortable for two. It is right out in the countryside, and has it's own outside space.

Note that the toilet and shower are private, but in a separate building about 15m away. Water is from a standpipe next to the toilet building. Think of the shepherd's hut as a wooden tent with electricity. (And this isn't a complaint - just ensuring people are clear what they are getting.)

Pleasant and friendly hosts, quirky cabin, very comfy mattress. Scones, coffee, tea, water, milk, butter, jam were left for us at the cabin. Wish we were staying longer, there are so so many bunny rabbits around
