Beautiful place , very cosy hut , amazing views , Appleby just 4 miles away , worth visiting the castle Nearest pub is 1 mile away from the hut worth walking to see the lovely views , good food. The owner Carol was so nice on arrival made us feel very welcome , she left us scones in the hut and milk etc which was lovely of her , I highly recommend this place , so peaceful and cosy

Fantastic location and such a lovely host, let me feed the lambs on the property. Lovely little touches for easter in the hut too.

Beautiful decoration, very cute and clean.

The lambs were adorable, all the extras like the scones, tea/ coffee etc and washing up didn't go unnoticed.

Cozy & Warm: The hut itself was lovely and very cozy. The heaters worked perfectly to keep the room warm and comfortable despite the weather. Excellent Hospitality: The area was incredibly quiet and peaceful. A special mention to the delicious scones provided—they were a wonderful touch. Comfortable Sleep: The bed was very comfortable, which was much appreciated after our hiking adventures.

Layout and Facilities: The listing describes a "fully equipped kitchen" and a walk-in shower, but it does not clarify that the bathroom and toilet are in a separate building. Having to go outside in the cold to wash your hands, use the toilet, or wash cutlery (as there is no sink inside the hut itself) was a significant inconvenience that wasn't made clear before booking. Shower Lighting: The bathroom lighting is motion-activated on a very short timer. During a shower, the lights would turn off every 30 seconds unless someone else was in the room to trigger the sensor. This made for a very frustrating experience, especially at night. Expectation vs. Reality: While the hut is charming, the "luxury" description and 9.7 rating felt a bit high given the lack of indoor plumbing and the logistical challenges of the external bathroom.

Lovely setting on a working farm., surrounded by sheep, lots of rabbits and beautiful views. The personal touch of scones with butter & jam were well received on arrival. Easy to follow directions, made the hut easy to find.
