Shiga Park Hotel

In the Shiga Kogen Central Area, basically you can ski to slopes. Hotel also offers very good price rental for guests. Very friendly and helpful staffs.

I wish the soundproof can be a bit better, I was waked by the other guests out side my room every morning. Also the refrigerator is super noisy…

10/10 service and awesome buffet. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. Staffs were all very, very helpful. I cannot stress this enough, because they really showed me which food that I couldn't eat because of my diet restrictions.

For the hotel itself, none! All great. Oh but the pillows were a bit harder than what I prefer, but it didn't change anything!

Great location a short walk down the driveway to the base of the lifts at Takamagahara. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really made our trip one to remember.

The hotel is right next to the ski slopes and quiet with no traffic or planes noises. The diner buffet is good with several choices of Japanese dishes. The onsen (public bath in the hotel) is comfortable and appreciated after a day of sky. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Some staff members could hardly speak English (but it is not related to this hotel and is common in Japan). Breakfast was a bit disappointing if one was looking for a continental breakfast (croissants, fruits, etc.). The central heating makes a lot of noise every time it starts so expects a lot of noice at 6am for 1-2 minutes. Wifi was weak during peak hours and the hotel has no business center (or I did not find it).
