Riyad Al Moussika

Getting away from the hustle and bustle, the riyad felt like an escape. The courtyard was beautiful and the staff were amazing. I couldn’t recommend more

Beautiful place with great attention to detail, decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, perfectly located in the Medina while still being quiet and relaxing. The team managing both the riyad and the restaurant (which I highly recommend as well) is very professional and caring. You can really feel how proud they are of the place they work in, while at the same time being approachable, interesting, and genuinely fun to talk to. We loved it! I would stay there again without hesitation if I’m back in Marrakech.

Its a stunning building but could do with a deep clean, areas like the terraces and hallways weren't well maintained. The hammam massage was exceptional! Breakfast was good but exactly the same daily! Plenty of hot water.

Its more of a restaurant with rooms so finding available staff was tricky, its very noisy until 11pm so not a great place to rest. Facilities like the pool aren't really available unless you want to swim in the middle of a busy restaurant! TV didn't work at all. Daily cleaning was minimal, bed remade with same sheets.

It was a bit further from the main plaza (being my prior Riad closer) however well located.

Wonderful place like fairytale, super excellent people, we can t thank enough, super clean, great restaurant, i have no words.

A wonderful Riyad in the middle of Marrakech

Lovely place, we would definitely go back. Stayed 5 nights here as a family and the hotel management and staff went out of their way to make our stay great. Easy walk to the Medina and other sights. We ate in lots of places but Pepe Nero was by far the best. I‘d really recommend this Riyad.

Others have mentioned the restaurant noise - this did not disturb us at all and we didn’t find it at all loud. My kids mentioned the extra single beds were quite hard, although they slept well anyway!

Riad Al Moussika is an aesthetically stunning property, and both the riad and the room are visually beautiful. However, potential guests should be aware of several significant practical and acoustic issues before booking. The primary concern is the noise level. Because the room is located directly above the restaurant, it is extremely loud every evening. The music remains very loud until 11:00 PM, making it impossible to relax before then. Additionally, at 5:00 PM daily, the staff moves tables and chairs for dinner service, which creates an unbearable amount of noise. The room itself is tiny but lovely, though it lacks functional details. There is no outlet at the desk, no full-size mirror, and no pen or paper provided. While the bathroom is large, the lighting is poor and there are no shelves or tables for toiletries. Other points to consider: Connectivity: The Wi-Fi does not work well. Amenities: A kettle was eventually provided, but only after insisting. Terrace: While there is access to a terrace from the room, it requires climbing a flight of stairs. Breakfast: Served from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. This is a beautiful destination for those who prioritize aesthetics, but the evening noise and lack of basic room functionality make it a difficult place for those seeking a quiet or productive stay.
