Host was amazing The Onsen Fantastic food

We loved our stay here! The owner was so sweet and helpful with schedule suggestions and transporting our luggage from the station and taking us to the monkey park. Also very punctual for our pickups. We paid extra for the dinner and it was well worth it! Both dinner and breakfast were phenomenal. Tons of little dishes of delicious home-cooked food that added up to a very filling meal. Some foods I’ve never tried or even heard of before, like a wild spring vegetable in the tempura, and local specialties like apples. The onsens were private, convenient to use, and very peaceful and pretty.

The only thing I can think of is that there were two onsens and the smaller one was too hot for my taste and I couldn’t go in. There was advice on the wall to run cold water in it and stir it up, but I ended up just using the dipper to pour water on myself and then used the larger onsen when it was free.

Great hosts! They picked us up from the station, drove us to the monkey park and to the station on our checkout day. Both dinner and breakfast were very tasty in a very cute dining room. Both large and small private onsens are great. Clear recommendation!

Me gustó todo. Recomiendo desayunar, la mujer es una buena cocinera y comerás en su modo tradicional. Te recogen en la estación y te llevan en coche al parque de los monos. Te guardan las maletas e incluso te acercan a la estación al terminar de ver los monos, te preguntan a que hora coges el tren. Puedes usar los baños termales en privado (ellos te explican). Por la casa no pueden andar con zapatos.

The Hot Springs were the most iconic part of this! Two really amazing Hot Springs, and it was totally tattoo friendly as they were private. We did dinner at the property, which was also totally worth it. Everything was cooked gorgeously. They also picked us up from the station and drove us to monkey Park, which was super helpful.

not the fault of the property, but just so people are aware if you sing in the hot springs, we can all hear you.

De gastvrouw was superaardig en zorgde ervoor dat we van alle gemakken voorzien waren. Het diner was geweldig en ook het echt japanse ontbijt was top. De onsen was ook fijn. Als je echt een authentiek verblijf zoekt dan is dit zeker een aanrader!

Traditional Japanese property with private onsens and the food was amazing, some of the best on our trip. Host was so lovely. Definitely returning

That we only stayed one night

Excellent property, with great onsen, spacious, clean rooms, and a comfortable dining and communal area. Dinner was especially delicious and presented with very good service. Would recommend to anyone!

The staff was great! The clean and authentic room was just what we wanted. So many nice touches to combine modern needs in a traditional accommodation. The private onsen really made this a special place.
