・乗せてた写真が少なく想像していた部屋の感じと違った ・トイレは新しくなっていたが他が古く、風呂場のカビが　 　多く清潔感がなかった ・敷き布団がぺらぺらで薄くて寝心地が悪かった ・自然豊かな場所だから仕方ないが虫が多すぎた ・鍵がかけにくくて大変だった ・冷蔵庫の上に電子レンジが乗っていた為、届かなくて使　 　いにくかった ・Wi-Fiがなかった ・夜帰ると外のライトが少なく駐車場から歩いて宿に向か 　うまでが暗くて怖かった

We stayed in Hidamari. It was a pleasure staying in a traditional Japanese house, made from wood. Beautiful timber beams in the roof, the flooring planks were excellent, like visiting a temple; solid, smooth and enjoyable to walk on. The house was clean, neat and tidy with an old world charm about it. Beds very comfy. The bathroom was a highlight; all cedar, traditional style with wooden stool/bucket and looking out to a garden. Very relaxing. In addition, the living room sliding doors open to a lovely view across to the mountains, was great having a coffee (delicious) in the morning. Although we didn`t cook, the utensils etc looked pretty capable. If you do wish to cook, best to buy groceries from the local Salva supermarket, back on the main road heading into town before arrival. Also to note: 1) the restaurant not open for dinner - need to order dinner 3 days ahead for in-room dining. 2) The farm across the road (at reception) has an enjoyable property with a nice walk down the hill, plus amazing soft serve!!

Stedet var meget autentisk og vi fik oplevelsen af at bo i et ægte traditionelt japansk hus. Personalet var meget hjælpsomt og svarede forholdsvis hurtigt på vores beskeder. De hjalp både med at skaffe taxa til og fra stedet. Naturskønt område, som var meget pænt.

Der lugtede muggent og jordslået/skimmel. Der var høj luftfugtighed og sengetøjet var fugtigt. Badefaciliteterne var decideret uhumske, med rådne gulvbrædder og skimmel. Der var nogle gulvbrædder som var knækket og ikke udskiftet. Det var ikke vedligeholdt og vores håb om at prøve et ægte onsen var slet ikke muligt. Det var det som vi havde booket huset efter, så en slem skuffelse. Huset ligger desværre et pænt stykke fra busstoppestedet og der er ingen taxa service gennem apps, da det er uden for serviceområder. Hvis man alligevel vil booke, så skal man sørge for transportmiddel, så man kan komme til og fra. Internettet er kun nede ved receptionen, så man skal sørge for at have adgang til internet gennem sin telefon. Man skal huske, at købe mad inden man kommer, da man ikke kan købe aftensmad.

Stayed at kawami. Great location and very spacious. Having your own Onsen and zengarden makes this a place absolutely worth staying at! For the rest it's a house with multiple rooms in the traditional style which we loved.

The lock in the front door was broken and couldn't be used. Some windows were old and falling apart. Take better pictures of your facilities! This way, people can know what they are renting. For us, it was a gamble to do this (though worth it in the end).

Staff was amazing, try to explain and introduce everything. The place has everything you want, air cond, utenstils, Toto Washlet. Peaceful place in the woods and plenty of space and parking. And we even did got a bottle of sparkling wine as a welcome drink!

This Ryokan/cottage is perfect for a home stay style Airbnb near Mt Fuji and all its attractions. There is a beautiful cedar bath with picture windows over looking the natural beauty of the forest. There is a fire pit in the living room/dining area. There is an option of Western beds with nice firm mattresses or futon for those who prefer the floor. The property is traditional and not modernised - the fully wooden wet room is as it should be and shows signs of use which may confuse some Westerners - it is meant to be like this and will be repaired and replaced over time - please expect this. The staff were so lovely and helpful in finding the property and explaining how it worked. The kitchen has a small toaster oven, microwave and stove for convenience. There are free toiletries and amenities. I highly recommend this stay.
