Bungalows Miami Beach

The property was in an excellent location just yards from the beach which was mainly sand. If you wanted a sun bed they were a short walk away in either direction. The car parking was very good with your own allocated spot not far from your bungalow. There were plenty of restaurants within a short distance, one in particular we liked was about 5 minutes walk away ( El Capitan). The San Augustine shopping centre was about half a mile away and quite extensive with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Will be going back again

The actual bungalow could do with a lick of paint or even a bit of refurbishment. As there was only two of us we got away with the amount of crockery and cutlery but a bit more would not of gone amiss, if there had been four of us we would have struggled. Also we had to go out and buy cereal bowls and mugs as we like a decent size cup of tea/coffee in the morning. Another thing we went out and bought was an extension lead with more sockets as there was only one socket in the kitchen area for a microwave,toaster and kettle and didn’t want to keep changing from one thing to another.One other thing the Wi-Fi in the bungalow was virtually non existent you had to go out the front where there was patio furniture to get the Wi-Fi. Having said all this it would not stop us going back again.

Perfect position right on beachfront, near restaurants and shops. Good outside sunny garden with plenty of outdoor furniture and sun loungers. Double bed really comfortable. Good friendly maid service with change of towels and bedsheets. Maintenance man very helpful.

Garden had a gate that led straight onto beach promenade, but as patio door didn't lock on outside, you had to lock it from inside, then walk around the block to get on beach, which made a mockery of having beach access. Some of the electric sockets didn't work and some hanging out of wall. Maintenance man managed to get some working and reset in wall. There is damp spreading on one of the walls and plaster is falling of. This is under investigation after we reported it. Place needs some money spent on updating and maintenance.

Wonderful location, right on the beachfront with a beautiful view and a 10 minute walk to restaurants and bars. Lovely to listen to the waves at night.

It was only equipped to the bare minimum in the kitchen. The socket hanging loose over the hob looked very dangerous. Overall, the apartment is badly in need of refurbishing.

Location was excellent as it is right by the beach. The rear patio overlooks the sea and the gate opens onto the beach path which was nice. Apartment was generally fine. Some signs of wear and tear and the place does need some maintenance, but it was reasonable for the price. We had most things including extras such as a clothes airer which was very useful, and the patio shower was also nice to have. The owner made the keys available out of hours (in a key safe) which was good for late arrivals.

- Some of the locks for Bungalow No. 17 needed some lubrication, for example the gate to the beach path was not easy to open. - Some evidence of insects (ants) but nothing problematic. - The clothes airer was broken so we had to prop it up against the wall to use it.
