The Balinese lady at reception is friendly

I left my charger in the room and continued traveling. They were very unsupportive and unhelpful finding a solution on how to get the charger to my new hotel, which I offered to pay for. Usually in Bali these things are never an issue, but they didnt make any effor to help me out. I even contacted the owner, telling I was having trouble arranging delivery of the charger, and she bascially ignored me. They keep big parrots in small cages so they cant fly, beds are not so comfy, breakfast super basic.

Een oase van rust, vlak aan zee Fijne kamer, van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk ontbijt!

Geen geblindeerde gordijnen dus vroeg licht in de kamer.

First, Candidasa has made an effort to clean up the casual rubbish problem. It has public bins and signs and it seems to be working well, at least away from the main road. Classy place that has two areas - by the dining area and by the sea. Easy to move between them. Has lots of common areas and a nice spacious and relaxed feel to it. We stayed in huts by dining which were a bit older and cheaper. Upstairs is best. Both pools were very good. Was one of very few places with an easy access and nice, private beach. New boardwalk may impact this in the future? Room large, comfortable, clean and had a great non slip floor. Had a slightly worn feel to the bathroom, but rest was really nice. Had an overhead fan. Located a short walk to warungs and other shops yet pretty well out of the way from anything busy. No mosquitoes. Good enough standard breakfast. Has a full menu for other meals if required.

No safe. Bed a bit small for tall me. (Beach rooms had larger).
