Hiouchi Motel

The rooms were recently remodeled. The bed was very comfortable and huge. It's located very close to Jedidiah Smith national Park. We enjoyed staying there. S'mores with other guests at night around the campfire 🔥. It was a good trip

Kevin and staff were incredibly nice, welcoming, and accommodating. The room was spacious, mattress super comfy. The location can not be beaten if you are visiting the redwood groves.

Nice cozy room in the middle of the Redwoods! The cafe next door was convenient and had a delicious breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpful! Had a real hometown feel to it!

Recently updated surprisingly modern and well appointed rooms. I was very surprised by how comfortable the room was. I appreciated the 10% discount coupon for the cafe next door. Their breakfast is outstanding!

No coffee maker in the room. While traffic is infrequent on the adjoining highway at night, the noise from passing trucks was pretty noticeable.

Chat GPT picked this motel for our trip to Redwoods ( from Oregon) perfect location, beautiful drive in, and the motel was recently upgraded. So nice inside with acoustic wood wall, electric fireplace, very quiet over head fan and air/heat ( heat pump?) . The room was just big enough, great bathroom with new tall toilets and separate area for sink and clothes. This is one of my favorite stays. It was clean and flooring solid so no gross old carpeting! Breakfast next door huge plus- and huge portions! Consider splitting. Staff in both places super friendly.
