Great accommodation, amenities were good and the staff were friendly.

It was peaceful, warm and pleasant

The decking needed some mending but this did not impact on our stay or our enjoyment

Lovely location. Evening entertainment was fun my kids very much enjoyed the disco and we loved the race night.

The pool closure and alternative was much too far away. The holiday home was sold to us as with a dishwasher but there wasn't one. The launderette was out of service for our stay

Enjoyed the hot tub

The lodge was smelly like a w damp wet dog not clean. Cooker hob didn’t work, electric fire was not working, no bedding for spare beds, clock didn’t work, showers broken, fridge tipped backwards. Grubby looking for the expense. Complained was told they would get fixed but they never arrived!

When we inquired about internet access they said it wasn't included and we couldn't find a WiFi password or router anywhere. On the last day we were looking around in the extra room and found what appeared to be a small router fixed to the wall and were able to connect. When I checked out and mentioned it to the guest service desk I was met with immediate excuses and no apology. Very poor customer service and I don't think they plan to improve that part of people's stay which is quite bizarre as all it takes is a small welcome note in the package they give you on arrival. A WiFi name and password is a very basic but extremely helpful thing to include. Probably the most important thing when people are on holiday in the middle of the countryside with limited signal and internet service. Nice place but very poor customer service and management organisation. Say sorry, thank the customer for raising the concern and then take an initiative action. Basic customer service. If that were addressed I would have scored a 9 maybe even 10 as even though the place is slightly dated it is comfortable and has a nice character. Such a shame.
