Motel Topolog

The bed was quite comfortable. Very glad we only stayed the one night

The ceiling in the bathroom was black with mould. There's a waist pipe above the shower from the room above. The toilet was only about 2 inches from the wall, so you had to sit on it sideways. The sink was broken. There was only 1 small towel for 2 of us. After 1000 kilometres drive, we would have liked a shower but were frightened of what we might catch. Didn't have breakfast, just happy to get out of there. The ceiling light above the bed only had 1 of the 4 bulbs working, and all 4 sections of the light had lots of dead animals in them. Having booked online and paid by card, I was confronted by the person on reception demanding payment for the room as no money had been received from booking.com.

The location

We liked the restaurant, good food and drinks.

Well, it is a motel, so it is hard to expect something super clean or modern.

Very basic but good for a stop on the road from or to Bucurestio or Black See. Very acceptable restaurant for a diner and breakfast. Fair value for money.

The motel is located far away from the town, while the street of the same name is in the town. That creates confusion. It should be better explained in the description. The advertised "balcony with a view to the garden" actually has a view to the parking.

Well, it on the edge of a very important national road. Practical but lacking charm.

The shower didn’t have the curtain (= lake)…
