Bagh Serai by Alaya Stays

- incredibly lovely and polite staff, special shout out to all courteous restaurant staff, Ashok the manager and Rajesh the driver who were all amazingly helpful. - Food included with dinner package was delicious, and vegetables grown on the property! - Although they do not have a bar, the staff were able to source beer for us on request. - Beautiful and spacious room, with extremely comfortable bed. Private plunge pool fillable on request and lovely private porch and reading/relaxation areas. Pictures do not do it justice! - Location is a bit away from the park/city, in a beautiful nature area. - Friendly and adorable dogs who live at the lodge! 😍 It’s also pet friendly (our neighbours had brought up their dog).

- As others have noted, bear in mind that the last 500m or so of the drive to the lodge are on a very bumpy track, so if you are making your own way there, make sure to take a car - a TukTuk will not cut it. - We pre-paid for breakfast and dinner, food was great but it was not always clear what from buffet / a la carte was included or extra. I think this was partially a language barrier as the restaurant staff spoke limited English, but that is equally a criticism of us speaking zero Hindi!

The staff is so very attentive, nice and reliable - everything we asked for was done with a smile in no time. Mr. Suhail and his team at the property itself were so kind but not overbearing. Even the drivers that were arranged for us were extremely helpful and made sure we dont get ripped off when buying tea, souvenirs etc. Our driver even invited us for tea! The place itself is beautiful and everything it says on the website is true - all faciliities work and privacy is guaranteed. Our absolute highlight was seeing that the indie dogs who came to visit were not shushed away or treated badly but with respect. so the guests who want to interact with a cuddle buddy for some time might be lucky to get a visit from one of the gorgeous fluffy doggies of ranthambore! All in all i would highly recommend this dreamy whimsical place all the way!

Clean and comfortable.

We had elderly members in our party with serious dietary restrictions who were all asked to pay 2000 Rs for a dinner buffet when they couldn't eat most of the items. There weren't provisions for a la carte options, and the food was mediocre for the price we paid. Ruined our New years eve dinner a little, but the tents were very comfortable.

The overlay os good Landscape is good Its a little away from the mainroad and not connected by any road.
