The property didn’t look as thought it had been cleaned before we arrived. There were hairs all over the shower and on the bathroom floor, and the shower curtain was stained and yellowing with hair on it. Kitchen cutlery/utensils were not cleaned properly and the fridge was dirty. Fridge was also plugged in living room away from kitchen which is a bit annoying. One of the beds was a little bit concaved in the middle, clearly an old bed. Hairs on bed sheets. The place was cold so we had 2 heaters plugged in and the fire on in the living room just to keep it warm. The walkway leading up to the property was so muddy which I know cannot be helped with the weather but a shoe cleaning rack or something would have been handy so we didn’t get mud all inside the walk way. All in all not worth the price of the listing and we ended up paying extra to leave the property so we didn’t have to stay in beds that looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned.

Walk out basement, reasonable sized. Prob OK in summer as there is a patio, but would be crowded for 5 (max occupancy) in winter. OK place if all you needed is a place to sleep.

Poor 1st impression - walk not cleared - had to trudge through a foot of snow to reach back. Unit freezing cold on arrival (was -20 outside) - OK after turning on all portable heaters. (Note main door seal broken at back - gap at side. Deadbolt was frozen open.) Kitchen was hotplate & microwave only. limited utensils (eg no water glass, can opener, scissors; only 5 plates.) Limited towels (4 bath towels only, no hand towels or kitchen towels.) Typical of basement suites - can hear people upstairs + furnace, but overall is quiet.

The location was easy to find and quiet. It was close enough to our conference. The home was clean. There were a few heaters in case it was cold. The kitchen had a microwave, 2 induction cooktops, a kettle and sufficient pot and pans. The owner was quick to respond to our request.

The fridge was unplugged upon arrival. You need to bring your own oil and seasonings if you plan to cook.

The landlord are nice, I met one time give halaween gift to my kids Location is served and good
